The Story

When I was a kid I read Bruce Campbell's book If Chins Could Kill. In it, he described how Sam Raimi and his crew would make films and show them to their community — people coming together in person to watch something raw, unpolished, and real.

That image never left me. Fog & Film is that dream made real.

We're building the first Fog & Film Festival. One night. Three official selections. An Evil Dead tribute opening. Guest speaker David Homb. No corporate backers. Just a team of film lovers who believe Bangor deserves a night like this.

Every dollar you give goes directly on screen — literally. We've published our full budget below. Nothing is hidden. Nothing is padded.

A Note on Our Goals

The Fog & Film Festival is a community-funded passion project. The fundraising targets on this page represent what we need to make this happen — not a guarantee that it will.

We are doing everything in our power to raise these funds and deliver an incredible night for Bangor. But we want to be honest with you: if we don't hit our goals, some or all of this may not happen.

Every dollar you contribute goes directly toward the costs listed in our public budget. Nothing is padded. Nothing is hidden. If the festival doesn't happen, we will communicate openly with every backer about what comes next.

Thank you for believing in us anyway.
